Premium Payment Modes

MTN MOBILE MONEY

This enables you to pay premiums easily by the use of a phone. Please use the following steps to pay:

  1. Dial *165#, go to Payments,
  2. Go to Next.
  3. Select Goods and Services, it will ask for a merchant code.
  4. Enter the merchant code “PAU”.
  5. Enter the payment reference. E.g., Your full name and subsequent payment policy number that will be issued to you when your policy is accepted.
  6. Enter the amount you wish to send.

Enter your mobile money pin to confirm, you will receive an SMS notification confirming payment.

Nxtpe(Automation of mobile money)

NxtPe is a digital payment infrastructure provider in Uganda that has partnered with major insurers and Airtel Money to simplify insurance premium collections. The platform is designed to replace traditional, often complex, bank standing orders with a mobile-first approach.

  • Universal Accessibility: The platform is specifically designed to reach underserved segments, particularly individuals in rural areas who lack easy access to physical bank branches or urban infrastructure.
  • Agent Support: It streamlines the sales and renewal process for insurance agents by providing instant payment confirmations, which shortens the time required for policy activation

LOGIN

  1. Dial *284*170#
  2. Select 1 (Enter 4-digit Pin) or 2 (Initiate a claim)
  3. Enter your Prudential Go PIN
  4. Main menu appears

MAIN MENU OPTIONS:

  1. Statements

  6. My Prudential

STATEMENTS → Select 1

    1. Actual payments
    1. Outstanding balance
    1. Policy status
    1. Last 5 transactions

PAYMENTS → Select 2

  • Choose: Pay full premium OR Pay other amount
  • Confirm, then wait for Mobile Money PIN prompt

CLAIMS → Select 3

  • Choose claim type: Death / Maturity / Critical Illness / Total Permanent Disability
  • Confirm → Claims team will call you

BUY A PRODUCT → Select 4

  • Choose: Life Protection / Health Retail / Investment / Corporate Group Life
  • A rep will contact you shortly

FEEDBACK → Select 5

  • Rate likelihood of recommending Prudential (1–5)

CHANGE PIN
→ Select 6 → My Prudential → Change my pin

Enter current PIN → Enter new PIN
