Pru Edusaveplus Benefits
Death Benefit
In the unfortunate event of death due to natural or accidental causes, Prudential will immediately pay 20% of the Sum Assured, capped at UGX 10 million, as last expense support. The policy remains in force under a premium waiver arrangement until maturity. At maturity, the Sum Assured together with accrued bonuses is paid either as a lump sum or through phased instalments.
Total Permanent Disability Benefit
If the policyholder becomes totally and permanently disabled due to natural or accidental causes, Prudential will immediately pay 20% of the Sum Assured, capped at UGX 10 million. The policy continues under waiver of premium until maturity when the Sum Assured plus accrued bonuses are paid.
Waiver of Premium Benefit
Should death or total permanent disability occur during the policy term, all future premiums are waived. The policy remains active until maturity without requiring any further premium payments from the policyholder.
Annual Income Benefit
Following a valid death or total permanent disability claim, beneficiaries will receive 20% of the Sum Assured, capped at UGX 10 million, on every policy anniversary until policy maturity.
Annual Bonuses
Prudential may declare discretionary annual bonuses while the policy remains active. Any bonuses declared are added to the policy benefits and paid according to the policy terms.
Maturity Benefit
At maturity, 100% of the Sum Assured together with accrued bonuses will be paid. Customers may choose either: Lump Sum Payment, Phased Instalment Payments. This option is selected at policy commencement
